Plot 52 and 53 served as the breeding ground for the lapwing pair recently, and I had the fortune of several clicks of the chicks and their proud parents making a ruckus to safeguard the chicks. Our good friends Nirisha and her husband Ragesh, who have a good view of the proceedings from their balcony have seen grown up chicks put up a brave fight and thwart away a big Cobra with its hood raised! I was summoned but too late to record this even as I rushed with the camera.
