| Sightings | This is migratory and I have been regularly spotting a small number of these birds starting end October, beginning November right through February, March. |
| Remarks | A small bird, very restless, constantly pecking into the water for prey. When bored (I suppose) or after considerable time in a place, flies making a shrill noise to a nearby place and starts all over again. Solitary or in pairs. I have a video of this one perched on single leg with eyes closed, neck turned 180 degrees. |
