SightingsThis is migratory and I have been regularly spotting a small number of these birds starting end October, beginning November right through February, March.
RemarksA small bird, very restless, constantly pecking into the water for prey. When bored (I suppose) or after considerable time in a place, flies making a shrill noise to a nearby place and starts all over again.
Solitary or in pairs. I have a video of this one perched on single leg with eyes closed, neck turned 180 degrees.
